The Nanny Biz Agency terms and fees include:

Permanent Placements: Terms and Conditions

A R150 nonrefundable registration fee is payable prior to conducting interviews. The registration fee is applicable once profiles have been forwarded to the Client and interviews are scheduled. Should we arrange interviews and a client cancels, or no longer requires our services, the registration fee is still due.

Once you have interviewed the nannies, you may indicate directly to your agency which nanny you would like to trial. We offer a maximum of two days of trial. You will need to pay the nanny directly for her day’s work. The daily rate ranges for a 9-hour day from 8am – 5pm is R250 – R350.

Should the client wish to extend the trial period an additional cost of R100.00 per day is payable to the agency. A domestic nanny may only start to work in a permanent position once the agency fee has been paid otherwise, she is available for other interviews.

Permanent Placements: Once-off placement fee of 8.5% of the total annual salary (this is inclusive of transport costs, cell phone allowances etc.) of an employee placed with the client. It can be calculated here.

Candidates earn a market related salary which is between + – R6000 and R7500.00 + per month for a full-time role (equivalent 5 working days) and a minimum of +- R3500 for a part time role (i.e., 2-3 working days per week.) The nanny’s experience, skills and transport costs do influence her salary band.

A full placement fee is applicable in the event of the client engaging any candidate within a twelve (12) month period after receiving a candidate’s profile document. The same too applies if an interview has been previously arranged and attended by the client or any party to whom the client might have introduced the candidate to.

Payment is due within 7 days on receipt of invoice. Should the invoice not be settled by due date, the “placed candidate” not return to work until settlement has been made or we find the candidate new employment.

Subject to the full fee paid on or before the due date, a full replacement guarantee, for 3 months (90 days) from start of employment. Failure to pay on by the due date will render the guarantee void.

If the client does not validate the SLA in the first fifteen (15) days of employment, even if the nanny leaves the clients employment within the guarantee period, the client will not be entitled to receive replacement candidates.

As we do not offer refunds, The Nanny Biz undertakes to find one suitable replacement for the employer, if the employment relationship is terminated within the first 3 months (90 days) of the placement. The Nanny Biz shall not charge an additional fee for this second placement.
